Well, we are closing into the home stretch. But before I tell you what we did today, and what we have planned, let me tell you how everything fell apart. Because isn't that just great? As you may be aware, our game rides on the CAD tutorials, based off videos created by Violet. However, these videos, well, let's just say they aren't small. In fact they make the game 560 megabytes large. Now you might be thinking, pfft, that's nothing Arun, what are you talking about. Unfortunately, Unity decided to disagree. Every time we built the program to create a standalone (an application you can run without the editor), Unity would crash. Unexpectedly. With no warning. And no error log. Wonderful. We tried three computers, with top specs, great processors, over 30 builds crossing 4 days, from Friday to Monday morning. Nothing. Until finally, in a magical moment around 12:30, Ashley's computer pulled through. It was a great moment for the team. We were surprised and elated, glad that we were finally able to make the standalone.
Sadly, this success was short lived. After running through the sim, I quickly found that the last tutorials videos did not upload, which was most likely why the build succeeded, when the others didn't. And adding Level 3 will put even more stress on the system. In other words, we are all holding our breaths, hoping that we find a solution.
But hey, enough of the negativity. Despite the fact that we cannot build a standalone, the game still runs. And better yet, thanks to Ashley, our character shall no longer look like a naked manikin. And with that, I'll begin the progress report. This time, however, I think I'll keep things a bit short.
Over on the Design Team, we have Ashley, and her wonderful characters. We are going to let the character decide between girl and boy, and I think they are looking pretty good. Check it out.

Jenny has been working on Level 3, and finished it today by adding windows to the wall. The player is finally above ground! She also began the voice recordings for the mother. Go Jenny! (I think at this point she is also our unofficial photographer.
The CAD Team has also been working on the final tutorials, finishing up the scooter tutorials. Violet completed three of the text guides, and will soon be done. Kiana couldn't make it today but has been working hard at home, upgrading the GUI to make it more user friendly. She has done an excellent job so far, and should be finished soon.
Finally, I, (the Middleman) began testing the game for bugs, as well as started importing the new characters Ashley created. Which leads me into our plans for this week. The first couple of days will be spent putting the game together, but by the end of Wednesday we hope to have the completed game. Then comes the hard part, placing in textures, adding audio, and running through it over and over again for bugs in order to make sure we turn in the best product we can. I can't believe it's almost complete, and I look forward to finishing the product.

One last thing. We forgot to take a selfie today. Yes, we are horrible people, and we have failed you. We'll have to think of some way to make up, but for today, sadly, there is no selfie.
