Apologies for our lack of pictures today.
First up, THE CAD TEAM
Kiana was finishing up the last of the tutorials for the CAD pieces, which I'm happy to say are complete! She also started working on adding a hint option, so if the player gets the wrong answer we can offer suggestions of places where they most likely made a mistake. She also adjusted the answers so they have a small amount of wiggle room and changed the tutorials so they start with a 3D model of the piece so the player gets an idea of what the final object should look like.
Although I still consider myself a loyal member of Team CAD, with the tutorials finished I decided to jump in with the Design Team for the day in a marathon of object texturing. So up next,
THE DESIGN TEAM (plus one)
Ashley, Jenny, and I spent the day texturing the various game objects in the factory. When the environment is put together, all of the objects are basically a blank slate. Nobody wants a plain white and gray game, so the three of us each took on a level and started adding colors and textures (like metal and wood), while keeping to our rusty abandoned factory theme. And I have to say, the factory really started coming to life today!
Ashley textured level 1 from start to finish, Jenny took on level 2, and I did level 3. After several hours of covering crates and shelves with rust and paint, the texturing was finished!
Jenny is also finishing the recordings of the mother's voice for the tutorials.
Lastly, but not leastly, Arun -- who has embraced his nickname, the Middleman -- finished importing the final tutorials into the game and worked more on the third level.
Unfortunately, JAVAK let you down in the way of pictures, and we only have one that Jenny snapped during the day.
